Dale Woodard has a passion for racing. From go-karts ... to 2-wheel drive pulling trucks ... to hobby stocks ... to stock cars -- Dale has found comfort in power and speed. Woodard joins the Nelson Motorsports racing team as the driver of car 04 in NASCAR sanctioned racing at Crawford County Speedway in Denison, IA. Joining Woodard is team-mate and driver of car 03, Bruce Bonnesen. Dale is married to his wife, Shelly, and has two children, Jessica and Nicholas.

Woodard began building his own race engines in the early 1990's, and currently builds racing engines for all classes, including his competition! What was an evening hobby, has become a business -- DW Engines. Woodard specialises in building hobby stock, stock car, and modified class engines.
